Delta 3 multimodal hub in Dourges is successful, with its first phase reaching saturation point and the second about to be launched.
Key figure: 120,000 transhipments a year expected at Delta 3 in 2010
Located in Dourges, about 20 km (12 miles) south of Lille, Delta 3 multimodal and logistics hub has been in operation since December 2003. It is a 330-ha (815-acre) site with a service centre, a trimodal combined transport terminal and 330,000m² of Class A logistics warehouses.

Building work has started on the Handball Arena two months early, which means all new permanent venues on the Olympic Park are now under construction.
During the Olympic Games the distinctive copper-clad, 7,000-seat venue will host the preliminary rounds of the Handball competition and the Fencing component of the Modern Pentathlon. It will also host Goalball during the Paralympic Games.
